Navigating the transition from girlhood to womanhood is inherently challenging. For some young women, the additional stress of managing abnormal breasts adds another layer of overwhelm. While young women experience numerous physical changes we can’t control, Dr. Judith Gurley wants you to know that when you feel like your breasts are holding you back, she can help!

In November 2014, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery®, a renowned journal from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, published findings from a study on adolescents experiencing abnormalities such as asymmetrical breasts and macromastia:

“This important study was able to conclude that breast asymmetry and macromastia, or large breasts, can negatively impact the psychological quality of life for these adolescents. Specifically, their self-esteem, emotional health, and social functioning.”
