What is Breast Asymmetry?

Breast Asymmetry is performed to even out the differences between the breasts. This may require either a breast  augmentation, breast lift and/or breast reduction.  The surgical recommendation is tailored for each individual patient’s examination and/or desires. With Breast Asymmetry surgery, patients will improve the shape and volume of the breasts.

Breast Asymmetry procedure details

The procedure is performed at a surgery center, usually on an outpatient basis. An overnight stay may or may not be recommended.  The incisions produced leave a scar around the areola, and down from the areola to the crease underneath the breast.  There is a limited or no incision along the crease of the breast, as Dr. Gurley utilizes a short scar technique.
